25" scale 1901 map, the single track L&NWR Coalport branch ends lower right, well past the station. Slightly confusingly the retaining walls look like railway tracks. Over the River Severn, then by a Toll Bridge, is the GW ex-Severn Valley Railway Coalport station. It had two platforms, a passing loop and plenty of sidings particularly off the map towards Bridgnorth (bottom). Shrewsbury is off left.
